About Our Group
The Corry Writers Block Writers Group was founded in Corry, Pennsylvania in 1999 by acclaimed author Beverley Bittner. Her goal was to bring together area writers and offer them workshops and lectures on writing. “We believe all writers start out the same way: rich in dreams. It is our goal to encourage our members to realize their dreams.”
Since her passing, we continue Beverleys objective to help all local writers within the Corry area.
Please Join Us!
We meet during the second Tuesday of each month to teach and learn the elements of writing, and to support our members in the craft of writing. Meetings are at The Corry Public Library, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
If you live within the Corry area and would like to join our group, please email us, or come to a meeting. We love to meet writers of all ages.
Visit Our Events
We are active at Corry events, including the annual Corry Fest held every July 4 weekend at the citys downtown park.
We also participate at the Erie County Fair every August at the Wattsburg Fairgrounds. Look for our booth. We hope to see you there.
